A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Lisa — and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m 51 years old, born in Los Angeles but shaped by the sunshine, salt air, and laid-back beauty of San Diego, where I’ve spent most of my life. Southern California is part of my story — the ocean breezes, vibrant sunsets, diverse cultures, and creative spirit have all quietly influenced who I am and how I see the world.

I’m a Christian first. My faith is the foundation beneath everything in my life — my marriage, my motherhood, my creativity, and the way I try to show up in the world. It’s not about perfection (because I am far from it), but about grace, growth, and trusting God through every season. Over 51 years, I’ve learned that faith isn’t just something you believe — it’s something you live, especially in the ordinary, everyday moments.

I’m also a wife and a mother — two roles that have stretched me, refined me, and blessed me in ways I never could have imagined. Marriage has taught me patience, humility, laughter, and deep partnership. Motherhood has taught me sacrifice, resilience, and the fierce, protective kind of love that changes you forever. These roles aren’t always easy, but they are sacred to me.

Creativity has always lived in my heart. Whether through art, design, writing, or simply finding beauty in small details, creating is how I process life. It’s how I express gratitude. It’s how I bring light into spaces. Being creative isn’t just what I do — it’s part of who I am. I believe we are all created to create in some way, because we reflect the ultimate Creator.

My heritage is beautifully layered — Japanese, Korean, Hungarian, and more. I carry pieces of each culture within me, even in ways I’m still discovering. That blend has given me a deep appreciation for diversity, tradition, resilience, and the beauty of different perspectives. It reminds me that identity is rich and multifaceted — and that every story matters.

At 51, I feel more grounded than ever. I’ve lived enough life to know that perfection is overrated, comparison is exhausting, and authenticity is freeing. I care less about fitting into expectations and more about living intentionally — loving well, creating often, and walking closely with God.

This space is simply an extension of that heart. A place to share creativity, faith, reflections, and encouragement. A place to celebrate beauty — inside and out. A place where real life meets grace.

Thank you for being here and for taking a moment to know a bit about me.

With gratitude,

Lisa 💛
